The Middle Tennessee Vocal Association (MTVA) Middle School Honor Choir is an auditioned group of students from Middle Tennessee area schools that prepare and present a concert each

year. Teachers who are a member of MTVA may select their students in grade 7-8 to audition for the group.

 

Auditions for MTVA Middle School Honor Choir are recorded auditions that are held in October of each year.  Students will sing "America" (My Country ‘Tis of Thee) as the recorded audition as well as one other selection.

 

Soprano- Key of A

Alto- Key of D

Tenor- Key of B

Bass- Key of D

 

All students will also sing the entire selection of Cantate Domino by Pittoni.

 

If you are interested in auditioning for the select ensemble, please contact Mr. Duff and he will get you the music and a CD to practive.

 

Only students who are fully prepared will be allowed to audition, so please make sure you practice.
